Friend of mine bought these headers http://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/...torsports.html

Overall good fitment. Slid in from under without lifting motor. Does not come with header bolts or gaskets. So reused factory pieces.

had to removed the oil pressure wire and two ground wires bolted to block to get the driver's side in. on the passenger side there was a plastic connector that holds the positive and negative wires together i had to remove.

make sure to install the driver's o2 sensor in before installing the header.

the passenger front o2 connector was a bear to get reconnected. zip tied it so as not to touch header. driver's side was fine. no provision for the dipstick to get secured in place. the front pipes to x-pipe had to be persuaded into place.

only real gripe i had was why they decided to use these stainless band clamps instead of just providing 2 more of the other clamps. as you can see, the driver's side had very little holding the two pipes together due to the bracing.

What kind of coating is that on the headers?

BTW, what size are the primaries on those headers? Been reading up on headers and the results between different size primaries, and I'm rethinking my idea of "upgrading" my 1 3/4" inch primaries to larger ones. For the sake of low end torque, I just may be better off sticking with what I've got now.

But was curious if this install went to large primaries (1 7/8" or 2"), and if so how that affected the performance of the car.
