Default UCP now History!

Wow, what a wonderful event- again.
The crew gets a big thumbs up for another smoothly run event.
To top it all off, despite not expecting to win (since my car had some body damge and was really just being shown for the fun of it before leaving it at the body shop for repairs), I won 1st place in my class (MODIFIED) which was filled with a lot of really nice cars. As I returned and was sitting in my chair, all of a sudden I hear my number called again, only this time for "Best In Show" award. I was stunned!!!
Thanks to all who voted for me Saturday. I was completly surprised and so very grateful for you'all voting to give me this award.
What a way to probably end my long careeer with LOVE IS BLUE. It goes into the shop next week (Dec. 1st) for repairs and repaint and then will be turned over to the new owner if all goes as planned, so this was probably my last show with the old girl.
What a joy it was meeting more members from CorvetteFlorida and talking with old friends again.
So thanks to everyone who voted for my Vette and made this weekend so memoriable to Kathy and I.

Glenn, NICE! A wonderful way to end your involvement with "Blue". Tell me......will you be getting another Vette in the near future? Sure hope so! Just one to have fun in, and NOT to start ripping apart!!!!!

Andy
I could NEVER keep from ripping another one apart, so right now, my plans are not to buy another one to replace (never could anyway) LOVE.
My wife owns a Crossfire, which is a 2 seater, so we should really get a 'family' car that holds a few extra people when the need arises, like our grandchildren etc, so I'm looking at the new Dodge Challenger as a fun replacement...maybe. We'll see what develops. The economy is real unstable as you all know, and since my wife was forced out into early retirement last month, we have to refigure our expenses, so nothing is set in stone.
I've owned many Vettes over the year and still feel like they are the best cars out there, bar NONE. My heart will always be with Corvette. Glenn

Congrats, Glenn!!

It was good seeing you at the show. But I really do hate the thought of never seeing "Blue" in person again.

Glenn, it was a pleasure to finally meet you and your wife. I was parked right next to you with the Monterrey Red Vert. Congrats on your wins. I was glad the Blue outfitted Elvis didn't sit in your car!!!!
Best regards always, Mark

Glenn, As always, great to see you again and meet Kat. My offer always stands if you and Kat would want to bring Blue over for one last one at Hooters, or you guys can just come over with any vehicle and enjoy a local show.

Jim Kill, Thanks to you & TBV for a great venue and show.

Greg / Anti Venom, thanks for letting me park in your vendor area and close to some awesome Vettes

Corey, theres a lot of shows coming to help pass the time til next year
