Talking C5 Shocks

What do you all know about these Shocks?
I need to replace mine on the 1997 C5 Coupe...I don't do Track stuff...just the normal cruises...with hard turns.

Default shocks

My understanding is that the best shocks for us C5 owner's is the 2004 Z06 Sachs Shocks. Lots of posts on all the vette sites.

Yeah, I've noticed a lot of posts with people claiming they "upgraded" their shocks by going to the 2004 new Z06 shocks. From what I understand, GM changed the shocks for the 2004 year. Haven't heard any complaints about them, and I guess when my shocks need to be replaced, I would likely go that same route.

The Bilsteins come in two flavors, HD and SPORT. It is my understanding that the HD's are for stock suspensions (including Z51) and that the SPORTS are for modified suspensions (Lowered, aftermarket springs and sway bars) and are 1" shorter in their extended length.

I just bought a set of 4 HD's for my 99 A4 Coupe with 80K for $290 on ebay. I'll put them on this week and let you know how they are.
