Tracy stopped in with Goldie today since he was in the area. There was a little oiling issue with the lifter, it had caused the rocker arm and ball to almost seize. Tracy and Gregie..(lol) worked together on the oiling issue, and it seems to be cured now. There now is a good steady flow of oil at the rocker arm.
So.. to answer your question ...um, Goldie is Golden right now Pun intended

Delivered today after putting over a hundred miles on to make sure all was well.
Want to thank Greg & his better half (better looking anyway) for all the help....he was in the middle of a header/exhaust install on a new Viper (at Antivenom??? ) and he set it aside to assist in getting Goldie Golden.....and that from a competitor.

A man gets his car back and the fixer doesnt get paid, sure sounds like a happy ending.

Corey are you saying Kap didn't pay his bill. I would find that hard to believe.

Rev I guess I'll butt in. I don't think Mark ever intended on saying anything negative about you or your shop. The little I know I do know him, he's not that type of person, but me on the other hand...
I'm dumb when it comes to mechanics, but you bragged on what a great job the previousbuilder did on Kap's engine. The attention to detail and such. I find it hard to believe that he / they installed a cam bearing wrong. It would be easier knocking it out of alignment installing a cam with the engine still in a vehicle then with it mounted on an engine stand. Anyhow, that's what I'm thinking. Now go ahead and start your rant at me.

Yeah from what I heard Kap refused to pay for the bearing issue not being Revs fault. They did a cam swap from my understanding with the motor still in the car, which is hard for a C3 and being very careful with such a beautiful car.
He pulled the motor an got everything going then like all mods something does give way (trust me I would know bout the only thing stock left on my 07 is the tranny/diff). What kills me the most is to find out the nice discount Kap was given and still not wanting to pay, thats a slap right in the face. I told tracy thank god it wasnt my company, I would have sent a repo truck over to the persons house until they pay the bill. But thats were me an tracy differ hes got a bigger heart when it comes to customers service, but in all my years in retail ive learned to bend an not break...this was a solid break.
