Why did they give me an apointment for a day they wouldn't be there?

He should knock some off the price to make up for poor customer service. At least 1/4 to 1/2 off. I know the tint's a little expensive, but most of the price is labor, not supplies.

Welcome to the site.
You need to find a good shop that knows what they are doing. There are a lot of different ways to deal with the dot matrix.
When I bought my Vette my windows were already tinted. I plan on getting them redone at some point. I don't like the way the dot matrix looks either. Check out http://www.tintdude.com/dot-matrix.html to see how some people deal with this issue. It's a forum for people that install tint for a living.
Hope this helps.

OH I almost forgot!
I have an appt for this Saturday now. Whoever wrote down my appointment before wrote it down for the 18th. The day I told them I could NOT come cause of the UVP.
They are giving me a small discount, no where near 1/4 to 1/2, but the price was good in the first place so I'm not gonna bitch.
I'll let you know how it goes

Glad it all worked out...
for ya there Rich.
Question for anyone: I had my windows tinted a while back, and since then have noticed the interior door panels have a white discoloration now. Almost like fading. Maybe due to stuff they used? Maybe it dripped etc.? Can it be returned to normal (black) with some product out there other than paint.

thats weird! The stuff the use to apply the tint is supposed to be plain water.
Try goo-gone, I've heard that the orange oils in it can bring black plastics back awesome, but I'd give it a shot in an inconspicuous spot first.
