A while back I read a manual on the operation of a milling machine and there was a warning in there that made a LOT of sense and can be applied to a lot of things.

Don't adjust or change ANYTHING on this device unless you are CERTAIN you know what will happen afterwards!

Lube'd everything and I agree with the don't mess with it unless you know what will happen. I have erred on the side of caution and said "I think it'll work just fine the way it is"
