I'm trying to clean out all the old parts that came off my my C5Z over the past year since it's been home. So I've had this Fidanza 7.6 ceramic dual clutch disk and aluminum flywheel sitting on my workbench taking up space that needs to go.
The clutch disks themselves have the splines damaged from the combo of the two bellhousing bolts being missing and one other one loose on the driver's side, and Pfadt sending a driveshaft that was too long. Between those two issues, apparently the front input shaft on the driveshaft tore up the splines in the disks. One is pretty bad, but the other might be salvageable. Doesn't look like the pressure plates nor the flywheel are damaged.
Really very few miles on the thing, since when at the shop after it was installed, they were trying to tune the car, and only did a few dyno runs (so I'm told) and some test drive miles. Based on what I saw of the mechanical issues on the car when I got it back home, I doubt that they ever got anywhere near full power on the engine before tripping a REP fault. When I got the car somewhat driveable, I only put maybe a hundred miles on it before the clutch cylinder slave failed and then the drivetrain got pulled out. So all total, maybe 500 miles on it?
So here are some pics of what we are dealing with here.
I really don't have any idea if anyone can salvage anything useful out of the clutch itself, but I figure that the flywheel may be worth something to somebody. So all I want is $150 plus $30 for shipping. The flywheel should be worth at least that much.
