repaint whole car
Paint shop is finishing it up today. Buffing it as we speak. I had the whole car painted. Had the silver stripes painted on this round. Also had the headlights painted body color and body side moldings painted silver as well. Midnight customz in apopka florida gave me a really reasonable price as well.

One of these days I'll get around to talking to some local shops about getting that Tigershark from bumper fascia put on and painted. I probably should get the entire car painted, since the hood is already damaged and there are scratches from hell all over the trunk area.
How long does the process of painting the entire car normally take?
And what's a decent price for a decent job being done?

Took them 3 days. I've known the owners dad for 15 years. So i got a discounted price. I will say under 2k.

To the best of my knowledge, around $2500-$3000. Materials alone will be about $1000.00 for quality stuff.

It is good for the price and time frame i needed. Yes another 1000 for them to spend another day wet sanding and buffing to a mirror finish would make it much better. They use rm paint which is a higher line.

Yeah, I would want the mirror finish on my car, and I would want to have the clear coat thick enough that I could touch up most of the road hazard induced issues myself when needed.
Wonder how many paint shops charge the "Corvette Tax"?

Well then, my primary guy at law dawg restorations would be the place. Been working on corvettes for 30 years. Just don't be in a hurry. If you look in my repairing hood thread, that's mirror

Yeah, but too bad he's so far away. I'm presuming he's near you. I'm really not all that keen on traveling so far away to have something done on my car.
BTW, how many times are you going to paint your car?
