C5 Corvette Weatherstrip Replacement C5 (1997-2004)

This guy makes the job look pretty easy to do. I bought some new GM weatherstrips when I purchased new moldings for the C5Z. My moldings are broken in the middle on both sides, and from what I can see, I would have to remove the weatherstrips to get those moldings out, and quite likely they would get damaged in the process. Weatherstrips for vehicles seem to be unusually expensive, for some reason. And it's not just the vettes, as I have priced them for other vehicles I have had, and they all seem to be pretty pricey.

In the case of my 2002 vehicle, I wanted to buy them before they were no longer available from GM.
