1978 MGB 72K miles. Owned by current owner since 1999. He says he doesn't use it and wife has disability so it's time to go- the car not the wife. Comes with copy of work orders showing what has been done over the years. It is a dark brown with tan top and black tonneau cover. Comes with a cloth storage cover, spare tire and MG car jack, spare parts and MG guidebook.

Thoughts on price, and any experiences with an MGB? Thanks

Ran strong, shifted smooth, nice straight body, beautiful interior, really nice paint. The chrome and stainless looked good, total package virtually 100% rust-free .... eye-candy best describes its condition (if you like MGBs). But the undercarriage was wet, really wet, front to back, from oil and grease from seemingly everywhere. The area of the garage floor where the car was parked looked like it came out of a service station- it was so stained from new and old drippings. This was just not worth the effort. What a disappointment. :nonod:

Beauty is skin deep and ugly goes to the bone.

You probably chose wisely if it's leaking fluids all over the place. Unless you were looking for a project car where you would have to rebuild the entire drivetrain.....
