Default C4 Wipers not right

Greetings to the fellow Floridians and Corvette 'ians!
I'm new to this forum, but not to Florida.

I have a 1993 'vert with about 70,000 miles on it. It was a triple white car but the previous owner replaced the white top with a black one.

Among the minor issues I am working out with my car are the wipers.
The drivers side wiper hits and laps over the A pillar. It has scratched the windshield at the pillar. It has lapped over so much that a small silver groove has worn in the black A pillar where the top of the wiper laps over it. I have tried a one inch shorter wiper and resetting the arm lower to try to correct this, but it hasn't worked. I purchased the car used and inherited this issue.
Does anyone know of a permanent fix for this?
Any and all ideas and suggestions are welcome.

Thanks so much.

to the site RASCAR!

Sorry, I am not a C4 guy and would not be the person to help you on this problem. But there will be others here that will way in to try to help. We have some site members that are repair shops and I am sure one of them will help you out.

Also, you should wonder up to the Welcome Room and introduce yourself there. You will get a bunch of welcomes and replys.

Good luck with your problem.

interesting problem. 1st, are you using the correct blades? C4's use special low profile blades only used on the C4 and the XLR, 20" on both sides, either available at the dealer, or Exact Fit makes them, I think its the 20-3, but you should double check that.

If not, the arm may be out of adjustment, I've never adjusted one, so I can't tell you the procedure, but I do know it requires a special tool to remove the arm.

Hope that helps!
