C and C (Cars and Coffee)

I posted some pictures yesterday of a 1000+HP Vette for Rich, and I said that I took the pictures at "Cars and Coffee". That got me thinking that maybe some of you would like to check it out, so here's some more info and a few pics of a "typical" morning. "Cars and Coffee" is held at the Starbucks on Ulmerton Road in St Petersburg, close to where 275 crosses Ulmerton. There's usually a good number of Corvettes that show up as well as some of the more "exotic" cars. Official time is from 7AM to 9AM, but people generally stick around later than that. The first time I showed up, my car was filthy! I had gotten caught in a downpour on the way home, got home at 11PM, got up at 6AM to make it to cars and coffee, and the car was STILL filthy from the day before. Needless to say, I parked W-A-A-A-A-A-Y away from everyone else and walked over to look at the cars. One of the guys came over to me and said "what did you park over there for"? I said "because my car is filthy". He said "we're about CARS here, not dirt! Bring it over!" So I did! Talk about making you feel welcome.......! Anyway, here are some pix I took at the June 16th Cars and Coffee. The pictures are "grainy" because I sized them down to save download times.
