I listed several events that occur in the Hillsborough, Pasco county areas during the week. There are others in Pinellas as well, just depends on:
1) What you're looking for? Vettes only or mixed?
2) Where you want to go?
On saturdays a lot of us (15+) have been meeting up at Andreh's shop, Insty Tune & Lube on North Dale Mabry Highway, just south of Bearss.
Yesterday, one of the guys brought a grill and Andreh hosted with burgers and chips.
I'm working on a sound system for us as well. If anyone has anything they want to donate to the cause, let me know?
This is turning into a very nice, family oriented event for saturday afternoon. We usually leave around 7:30-8pm and may go to one of the other shows (as a group), out on the town or whereever?
Come on down and join us. It really is a good time:thumbsup:
Brad, on Friday, Fermans in Brandon is hosting a get together starting around 5 I believe? Jim, any more information on that? They did it last friday but I don't know how it turned out? They're meeting at the Corvette showroom (old Harley shop).
Also, if any of us have information regarding upcoming or recurring shows, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, feel free to place them on the calendar so everyone can see them.
Thanks,
Gordon

FLA-C4 said:I'm in Valrico. There's been a small gathering the past 2-3 Saturday afternoons in the JF Kicks parking lot on Lithia Pincrest just north of Bloomingdale...probably 15 cars or so. There were a couple of C3's there this weekend along with 2 really nice '69 Z-28's. Someone has a PA set up playing music and it looks like a few more cars show up each week. Also, there's a car show in Plant City on the third Saturday of every month that's worth going to...

c5inparadise said:Hey all,
I live in Palmetto and am always looking for places to cruise to/hang out. I travel quite a bit so I don't get to as many gatherings as I would like. Wouldn't mind hosting a bbq/keg fest at my place in the future. One of these day's I'll make it to the Saturday nite get together at Andreh's.
Shadow said:We'd be honored to have you join us. There are also some shows (not all vette specific though) in the Valrico/Brandon area a bit closer to you in Bradenton. There's also Fermans in Brandon on SR 60 on Friday evenings.
If you're free today (saturday-7-30-07) a bunch of us are meeting in Bradenton for lunch and a cruise to the island.
Happy to have you join us.

Hi Gordon,
As I mentioned in my PM to you, I'm in MASS until the 14th. Hopefully I can hook up with all of you later this month. I'm sure the cruise to Anna Maria was nice. There is a little tiki hut sort of place named Skinny's at the end of 64 west, (across the street from Holmes beach), which has real good burgers and fries. Not to mention ICE cold draft beers. Anyway, hope you all had a nice afternoon.
