• Got the Contributing Memberships stuff finally worked out and made up a thread as a sort of "How-To" to help people figure out how to participate. So if you need help figuring it out, here's the thread you need to take a look at -> http://www.corvetteflorida.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3581 Thank you, everyone! Rich Z.

Well sort of. At least it looks ready for the track. Got a set of numbers and corvette racing decals made up for her for the autocross I'll be running at tomorrow.

You and the Vette seem to be ready.
Best of luck tomorrow.
Let us know how you made out.

Oh it freakin poured, but wasn't enough to keep us from racing. I did well, but gotta work on looking further down the track. I even knew that coming into the race today and still didn't do it very well. Had some pretty good push with the wet weather and very little rear traction coming out of the understeer. Was fun to say the least. Hope to post a vid Sunday afternoon or monday morning.

Here's a pic of the only other Vette (and a C4 to boot) at the event.

Only a S2000 seemed to have issues at the end of the day, but with a half hour of tweeking and a lot of reving they got it going. Even with my ram air setup I didn't get any water, but it wasn't raining so bad in the afternoon session that I was in.

The results where just posted. I finished 3rd in class, only behind 2 awd porsches (one is a gt3 at that). Finished 19 out of 46, most being sticky little mazda miatas. The other vette (different class & highly modded) finished 2nd over all and first in class. I'm hoping when it's dry I'll have a better shot at those porsches.
