Go to the C-5 "Tech" section and click on the sticky for that problem. It will list all the recall numbers, etc. I had mine done twice. The first time it was free and it still didn't work. They just replaced the problem, not solve it. The second time I had them pull out the whole damn thing. There is a pin that slides into a lock. It gets hung up and won't release. If it gets stuck, jerking the wheel back and forth sometimes will release it. The CLB works but if you can just get them to jerk out the entire assembly is better. The service writer said it was against the law, but I went back to the mech and he did it for me. Afterwards your wheel will not lock when you turn off the key but who cares? That is not a real deterent when someone wants to steal you car. The price you pay to have your ignition on the dash instead on the column?
