Thanks for the heads up. You are dead on correct with an errant grain of sand. Now I know this sounds crazy, but I rarely use the cover for that reason, and why I want a lightweight one, ripstock nylon. Also, while this might be consider CRAZY, I use a fresh Swiffer (one of those dusters used for homes) and very, very lightly 'brush' the car prior to putting on the cover to lessen the sand possibility. Nice to feel normal among the crazies.
