Default Block casting #'s

Where on my 1962 327/300 can I find the identifying numbers on the engine. I want to see if they are matching numbers of the original car? Thanks for your help.

Les: Try this site. As I recall most of my small blocks had a milled surface with the ##'s stamped just below the head, passenger side front.

Good luck
