Chevy Tracker

I know this has nothing to do with Corvettes but I don't know if the web has a "Tracker" forum. Star and I just bought a used '04 Tracker (Chevy's little shrunken Blazer) and for daytime running lights it uses the low beams. I really don't want my headlights on all the time and would like to know how to turn off this feature. I like the idea of having the orange "parking" lights on but not the headlights. Any help out there?

looking over the schematic of your wiring you might get off easy unplugging the DRL module under the dash
If that doesn't work a jumper wire from pin #1 to pin #9 might do the trick
