If the car is under warranty, you shouldn't have a problem.
The car I sold was out of warranty, four years old.

Hi,
I had the same problem with my 97. Thought it was the sending units also. I tried Techtron with no success. Then someone mentioned Seafoam additive. I think I got it at Autozone and two applications later it has never acted up, and it has been years. I use Mobil 93 all the time and it might be just try either of the additives and then try changing brand of gas before you go any further.
