Security clearances are a must....but once you have it, then the world, in this case the Kennedy Space Center, becomes your 'oyster'! :hehehe:

My duties of inspecting the Shuttle takes me to all the known sites here at the Space Center, hence, narly shots like the one of Atlantis going out to the pad for the December 6th launch.

what started as storage due to space issues for a few months,
turned into almost 4 years, finally new house, new garage,
i knew the vette was there somewheres, 3 months later
garage cleaned out, walls painted, shelves up, lights up,
and whoa, it really looked sad.

bucket of clean water and cotton towels and...

not much, but it's mine. damn i've missed it. just sat in it for a
good 1/2 hour this afternoon after i got to this point. Feels good,
sure is comfy.
